Soul Gem CTC Icon Madoka

CTC stands for click to contine. I've been thinking about making a a fan visual novel of the Madoka series and this would be then click to continue icon for the text box if I went ahead with it. I saved it as a gif animation so you could see what it would like but in reality then animation would be controlled by some code in the program accessing a series of images rather than just one animated gif.

It's been a long time since I did any pixel art and I kind of miss it. Pixel art is what got me into digital art, it's the inspiration of my username and it sparked my interest in emoticons. I've never been very good at it, I don't understand how people manage to shade those details on such a small scale and not make it look weird. I didn't think I'd be able to pixel a soul gem but I think I got the details just right and I'm quite pleased.

EDIT: Upon looking at the refernces again, I realised that that the metals strips that meet at the top are not evenly distributed and in fact cup the back of the gem and thus I moved them.
